Crew Supervisor

As a Crew Supervisor at Restorex Disaster Restoration, you're stepping into a role where your positive attitude, commitment to safety, and leadership are crucial.


By communicating with a project manager, you will gain a thorough understanding of the tasks that need to be completed. Your role will involve coordinating daily crews, activities, resources, and equipment to ensure that operations run smoothly. Additionally, you will oversee the sites and provide assistance to emergency crews, ensuring that efficient and satisfactory services are delivered to our customers. Your meticulous planning of every detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to completing tasks will be crucial in achieving this.


During a typical day, your responsibilities include dispatching crews and overseeing multiple sites while handling administrative tasks and on-site supervision. You closely monitor your team's efficiency, review and authorize timesheets, and ensure that every aspect of the project aligns with the required scope before signing off on the day's work and reporting outcomes to project managers. You will be responsible in the daily reporting of the progress made, the challenges overcome, and the goals achieved.

Customer Service is key, and safety is never a compromise. 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience and knowledge in emergency mitigation and restoration processes
  • Strong understanding of reconstruction practices for properties affected by water, wind, mold, fire, and vandalism damage
  • Knowledge of Canadian building codes related to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
  • Personable with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient on computers. Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Xactimate is an asset
  • Safety oriented 
  • A strong commitment to customer service. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to perform physical labor, material handling, lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces such as attics, basements, crawlspaces, and containments
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory/foreman role within the restoration, emergency, or related industry, with a proven track record of managing crews/trades
  • Knowledge of assessing building materials containing Asbestos, lead or other hazardous materials
  • Knowledge of Asbestos Abatement, containment and disposal
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Ability to join On-call rotation

Additional Requirements:

  • Have a valid drivers license and be bondable 
  • Provide a clean criminal record check and drivers record 
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada 
  • Read, write, and understand English
  • Have a smart phone for company Apps, programs for reporting, pictures, and communication
