Construction Estimator

Restorex Disaster Restoration provides property restoration for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We specialize in emergency services for water, fire, and smoke restoration. We are now hiring skilled and experienced staff for our Construction Division and are looking for safety minded individuals who take pride in their work to join our Regina team.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to

  • Directly report to Construction Manager
  • Ensure company policies and procedures, including health and safety, are being followed
  • Conduct site visits with clients to develop/confirm scope of work and material take off
  • Complete estimates, addendums, and change orders for jobs as required 
  • Works with Restorex Emergency Project Managers to confirm project requirements
  • Schedule rebuild staff to meet timelines set out to complete work
  • Ensure workmanship quality control standards are met

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in framing, insulation, drywall, painting, finish carpentry, millwork, and general renovations 
  • Displays confidence, good manners, and attitude towards property owners, subcontractors, and fellow employees
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Safety conscious and able to cultivate a safe culture with staff
  • Able to work in a fluid, fast paced, and stressful environment  
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Docusketch, Xactimate and Symbility estimating programs

Additional Requirements:

  • Have a valid drivers license and be bondable 
  • Provide a clean criminal record check and drivers record 
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada 
  • Read, write, and understand English
